easy game making software

is there an easy game making software thats free?
i want to start making games for newgrounds and other game sites Ive got plans for games that i think will be good but i cant find any good, easy software that has help and online tutorial videos
does anyone know what i could use?
i have a linux computer so preferably compatible with linux thanks alot

Games that are put on Newgrounds, or any other site like that, are made using Flash. That is why they are called FLASH games. Any game you want to be able to embed into a website must be made using flash I believe. And it is a pricey program. sorry.
