New Spanish Class.. I'm a sophomore in high school this year.
I like Spanish, and I'd say I'm pretty good with it. The problem is though that I'm a VERY shy person. Our Spanish teacher does a lot of speaking quizzes where you just spontaneously shout out answers and get graded accordingly. Well, I really don't like getting up in front of everyone to shout out Spanish words. I like to think carefully first, then collect my thoughts, THEN answer. But, I really don't have time to do that lol.
My question is, is there anyway to get over my stage fright? I'm very tired of getting Cs on all my speaking quizzes when I know I could do better.

all you need to do is work through your fear. you need to remember that everyone else in the class is probably in the same boat, they are just dealing with it differently. just remember that by not yelling and screaming the answers, you sitting more in the open than if you would.
and for the record, the is a great idea of learning a second language. having learned french, being able to just come up with the right words instantly like that is a good way to show how comfortable you are with the language.
but just try, it is like anyother skill, you just need to learn it.
hope i helped. if you have anyquestions, just ask. ]
