The environment has been slowly breaking down as time has been going on since the time of Industrialization, when the world was flourished and the environment wasn't such a big issue. Really, there's nothing we can do now that can significantly help it. Mostly because industries can't change their ways do to competition and profit, and because we are already literally so deep in crap right now that we will be very lucky if we can fix this before it gets too far out of hand. The best way you can help is throw away garbage and don't leave it around or throw it on the ground. Recycling. Less driving. Use the air dryers instead of paper towels in the bathrooms. There are thousands of ways that you can help the environment steadily heal itself. Its a matter of everyone else doing them that's the issue. SO as long as you do your part, your helping the world works its way through recovery. ^^
