i got invited to go on a 20 day trip from People to People. I know it will cost money and it's no until summer 2009 but i would really like to go. Have you ever been on one of these trips? if so how much did it cost and stuff? if you know anything about this program i would greatly appreciate it if you told me! thank you!
Additional info, added Wednesday September 3 2008, 7:41 pm: also how did i even get invited?. Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? The best bet is to call them or go to one of the meetings to find out everything. And by the way my cousin said she loved the trip she said it was well worth it and she said it was gorgeous over there and she made some interesting friends. I would say you should deffinetly look into it if it interest you at all. good luck. [ jarthe13's advice column | Ask jarthe13 A Question ]

The cost depends on where you're going. Typically, if it's overseas, like Australia, it's about 5,000 dollars or more. You can do fundraising and stuff.
It's a safe and reputable program. You meet tons of new people. I still keep in touch with the people I met, and I haven't seen them in three years.
You got invited because a teacher/counselor at your school recommended you.
