On youtube, people edit their videos and you can tell. How do you do this?

Most computers come with the software already there.
For instance, if you have a Windows computer, the program is called Windows Movie Maker.
If you have a Mac computer, the program is called iMovie.
Both these programs work essentially the same. You can load in clips, edit, and add effects.

Have fun with your videos!

It's a pretty safe assumption to make that all videos on YouTube are edited, unless it's painfully obvious they haven't been. Usually the editing is nothing major, perhaps a little bit of cropping or something to that extent.

There are several video-editing programs that can accomplish this, but I'm having a bit of a brainfart at the moment and I can't remember any. Sorry. :/
