my tongue

my tongue has been burning for a couple days whenever i eat something and when i looked at it it looked like it had a small hole in it like a dent or something what could it be

you could have easily bitten it. any juices (orange, lemon, lime) or salt can make it sting and / or burn.

if it doesn't heal within 4 days, go to a doctor

im no doctor or anything like it but sometimes if you eat like a bunch of for example sour skittles or sour/salty food/candy it can make your tounge burn but will eventually go away
