Is there an age requirement for signing packages?

Question Posted Monday August 18 2008, 12:37 am

I'm 16 and wondering if im old enough to sign for a package that's delivered by a delivery guy. I ordered it using my parent's card with their permission and stuff and it came earlier than I thought, but my parents weren't home to sign for it. (my lil bro answered the door and said our parents weren't home so the guy left) Anyways he's coming back tomorrow and there might be a chance my parents won't be around again so am I old enough to sign for it instead? Well I am the one who ordered it, so maybe?

I'm only 13 and I sign for packages all the time, there is no limit.

There's no age limit. As long as you can sign your name, you can sign for a package.
