credit card demagnatization
what objects should i keep credit cards away from? to prevent it from being demagnetized? i think cell phones are one right?

I would say magnets, but I would hope that was an obvious one ;]
Pretty much anything that has a small amount of radiation, like cell phones, microwaves, radios, toasters, etc.
