what does all of this mean: (love life)

2 open relationship
3 cool-off

on a break, means you're not together, but you're not broken up.. it's kind of in the middle.
and an open relationship is when you have sex with other people.
i don't know what cool off is though, sorry.

1.) you're still in a committed relationship with someone, but you're "taking a break" because maybe you got in a little fight. it's supposed to be temporary.
2.) you're in a relationship with someone but both parties agree that they can hook up and do things with other people too. the point is so that the people can be close and hang out without restrictions. not serious, really laid back.
3.) i'm not familiar with this, but it sounds similar to taking a break. perhaps a heated fight and one needs time to "cool off."
