Why would you be embarrassed over something society and physicians deem completely normal? In fact, it's pretty much universal with your age group.
The majority of your classmates and friends do it but don't talk about it. 90% of men of all ages and 70% (though it's likely more) or women of all ages do it according to stats. It's normal to do it and normal not to. It's not normal however to feel ashamed of it.
It's pretty self-explanatory when it comes to how. You don't need to buy anything either. Beyond that we cannot and I will not provide anything resembling how-to info. That kind of thing gets you banned around here and for damn good reason. We have to protect minors.
Also, info like that won't serve you well anyway. That's because every person finds something different to be pleasurable or not.
