iPods breaking

Question Posted Sunday August 10 2008, 3:37 pm

a lot of my friends have had their iPods (nanos) break within a couple of weeks of eachother, and they all got them for christmas 2 years ago. they just randomly stopped working, whenever you turn them on an error message comes up. is it possible that the iPods were programmed to break in 2 years? i don't see how it could be coincidence that all of their iPods broke in the last 2 weeks, i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

It wasn't programmed that way, that's just how long the battery lasts for. Don't worry, Apple isn't out to get you or anything ;]
