Changing Verizon Phone

Question Posted Tuesday August 5 2008, 10:20 am

One of the lines on my family plan can upgrade their phones. We bought it online and they realized that they don't like it too much and rather just use their old one. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it, can I use it even though my phone isn't due for an upgrade? Is that against Verizon policy? Thanks!

yess you can use it lol go on the website, have whoever is the owner of the account, sign it, then change your phone through there. if it doesn't work, call verizon, say it didnt work, and they will do it for you. =]

does verizon use sim cards? if so, you can just pop it out and put yours in. if not, you have to go a store to change it. they should do it for you without a problem, since you are allowed to buy a phone without an upgrade anyway.
