Hi, I have been experiencing breast tenderness. I know, sounds normal for any female since our breasts start to feel heavier and sore when our menstrual is about to start. However, my last period started July 14th, lasting about 5 days or so. About three or four days ago, obviously, my breasts have become tender and it makes me worry because it is way too early for this to occur.
I've had sex twice after my last period.
I have a home pregnancy test but I don't know if I should take it or not, because usually one is supposed to take a pregnancy test after a missed period or can a few days before a missed period. If I'm correct, my next period should come in two weeks and I don't want to wait that long. If I am pregnant, I'd want to know ASAP.
So my question is, can I still take the test even though my period isn't near? Is there anything else that causes breast tenderness?
Additional info, added Friday August 1 2008, 12:33 am: I usually get sore the week before my next period or a few days before. Sometimes I don't experience it at all.. Breat tenderness can also be caused by someone fondling them too much and they get sensitive but besides that pregnangy and your period approaching. That is about all. Good luck!
