Moving On
15 turning 16/f
I have this good guy friend and about a month or so ago we had a thing. The problem is he lives far away but at the time I didnt find it much of a problem (we're talking about 20 minutes away but we don't go to the same school). Anyways he told me over msn that he liked me and I told him I liked him to. About a week later was a joint birthday party between me and my best friend. He was invited. All week people had been telling me to look forward to my party becuase he had something planed for me and I was really excited.
When the party came he spent the entire day with me and when we were sitting on the couch alot of people told me he was about to hold my hand until I accidently moved or something. We were together the entire day. Then night came and there was some drinking. I wasn't drunk at all but he claimed he was, even though he didn't act any different.
To keep it simple we ended up making out when everyone went for a walk and then one time we went for our own little walk and ended up making out alot with him ontop of me and such. Nothing else happened. I was however overjoyed and really happy becuase I thought we were going to start dating. A couple hours later he told me he just wanted to be friends cause we live too far away. I was upset but I sucked it up and said i was fine with it, he also told me he had forgotten the whole night.
Now im still not over him and we talk all the time. Ive hung out with him twice recently and both times were alot of fun and at points he was really sweet. I dont know what to do because I doubt he has any interest in me (he always talks about how hot other girls are) and theres no future there. How can I find a way to get past this and move on?

Lack of experience or another reason that he has is in someway keeping him from making the moves that you wan't, I can not advice you to do the move's insted of him, however sometimes that's what it take to know where you stand, see if he tell's you that some other girls are hot and he likes them, this could only mean his trying to impress you like someone he is not. other then he wouldn't be sitting net to you, i belive he hasn;t gotten to first base, need to know more, you're probably it because he went to you're birthday and spent the night with you, you need to dance with him and take the lead, you know what i mean.
