I'm interested in becoming a tattoo artist when I finish with my modeling career (probably around age 21.) I would like any tips or suggestions on things to do to prepare myself for a career as a tattoo artist. Any classes I can take in high school or courses I need to take in college would be helpful. Also, I would like to know what the requirements are to become a tattoo artist, what it involves, pay, etc. Basically any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

-get as much artictic experience as possible. learn to draw as many different art styles as possible. do as much art as you can, and maybe go to classes?
- once you are confident in this, go to a reputable store, and ask if you can be an apprentice. from there you can learn the trade start tattooing, and maybe hoprfully start your own business. :D hope i helped. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
