tongue/ nose piercing
Is there a stigma around nose/tongue piercings? I ran the idea of getting one by my sister. She said that I'll look like a poser or a slut. I don't want to label anyone and say that "emo" people or sluts usually get one or the other, but I suppose that's what my sister was saying. I'm not exactly preppy but not on the other end of the spectrum either. I don' really care if people think that it looks odd if I have it, but I was just wondering if other people think the way my sister does?
I just want one because I think I'd like it, and it would be something new and fun to try.

i have my tongue pierced; my friend has her nose pierced. so what if people stereotype that. we dgaf. cos we like it, and it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. if they get the wrong impression &approach you in a way you aren't comfortable with, just let them know. do what you want, don't let what everyone else thinks influence how you live your life, life is too short for that.

Some people do, some people don't.
But if you want one because you want one, and you like it, screw what everyone else thinks. Do what makes you happy. =] I personally think they're cool. But that's just my opinion.
