i don't think anything went wrong. the only thing i see that could've gone wrong is that he could've touched his cum with his fingers but i doubt cum is any where near as strong in salt water as it is in the open air. think about how disgusting that water is..so i doubt any sperm survived. in my opinion, since there was no direct contact, you're more than okay. :)
