nose piercing

Question Posted Thursday July 17 2008, 8:12 pm

I'm thinking of getting my nose pierced pretty soon. Are there any ways to numb my nose or to reduce pain during the piercing? Also, about how long should I expect to wait until I can change out the stud?

I agree with the person below, ice on it.
Otherwise, just close your eyes and think about something that calms you down or makes you happy so you can get your mind off of the piercing.
But it doesn't hurt all that bad. =]

Depending on the placement of the piercing, whoever pierces it tells you how long to wait.

hope i helped. let me know. =]

I don't really believe you could do anything to make it hurt any less, Other than placing ice on it for like five minutes before getting it pierced to dumb it.
I'd say wait six to eight weeks before removing it.
