When a guy gets horny(wants to have sex), his penis becomes erect. This means the blood flow in it is increased, making the penis hard and standing up instead of flopping around. It will also grow several inches from when it was not erect.

When a guy has a orgasm(tickling, amazing feeling after sexual stimulationg) he will ejaculate a salty, egggwhite-like substance called seimen. This is where the sperm is located.

After his ejaculation, his penis will lose his erection within seconds. And it will be very difficult to keep having sex.

Women enjoy men that take long to orgasm, because their penis will stay hard longer, which means they will have sex for a longer time. Usually it takes females longer to orgasm than it takes males, so long sex is good for them.

Well in most cases how long a guy lasts is usually how long that he kept the erection or (stayed hard)

What your friend is saying is that he couldn't get an erection (couldn't get hard) In order to have sex the guy has to have an erection, if a guy does not get an erection there can be several reasons why he couldn't.... some are simple like he just wasn't in the mood enough or some can be unknown until visiting a doctor.

*Also Im not sure of how old you are, but considereing the questions you asked Im pretty sure you are younger, but in my oppinion, your friend probally shouldn't be having sex or attempting too.... Maybe if you are close enough you should talk to her and tell her that she should wait until she is older and in a more stable relationship.... warn her about things like getting pregnant, and STD's and STI's. But if she insists on having sex, then you might consider making sure she remembers to be safe!!! She may not like it now but she will appriciate it later in life! Sorry that dosen't go along with your questions but it kind of conserned me.

When people talk about how long a guy lasted, it usually means how long it took before he ejaculated. And getting hard means that the guy is getting an erection.
