This photo is of the original (or "fat") PSP and not the slim version.

I went to this website that had lots of photos of both PSP to compare to:

...and noticed that in the third comparison photo that the headphone jack is located in a different area on the PSP Slim/Thin. The PSP Fat/Original has the headphone jack hole located under the cord handle insert while the slim version has the headphone jack hole located beside of the cord handle insert.

The photo you provided clearly shows that the headphone jack hole is not beside the handle so it must be under it.

It seems the real difference between the two PSPs that everyone is crazy about is that the newer, 19% slimmer version has better screen quality and brightness. I own the original/fat version and feel it's a very nice hand-held gaming system so, if this is your PSP, I hope you enjoy it!

Be warned, I know nothing about PSPs, but it looks to me like it's fat. I'm assuming thin would be much less thick.
