periods

Question Posted Wednesday July 2 2008, 8:57 pm

ok my periods are so weird. For about 9 or 10 months I didn't have my period. Then i did and it was a big one. now I havn't had it forabout 3 months. I use to have it almost every month but now it is like every 10 months.I am just wondering if this is normal and ok or should I go to the doctor? I love not having periods but I just hope that it is ok.

i have the same problem and if i were you i would consult a doctor because yours might be different than mine so i cant give you medical advice but in the end it could be a problem in the long run like if you want kids theres a chance that it might screw with that causing u to not be able to get pregnant or when your older make you moody and because of the bad periods when they comoe you can suffer things from loss of blood and bad cramps that will probobly come some time to...so lond story short consult your doctor because it will probobly help you in the long run...make sure they listen while your tellin them to dont let them blow you off.

It depends how long you've had your period. I actually have this problem and when I mentioned it to my doctor and my mom they both totally blew it off before I had the chance to mention that I've had my period for four years. After a couple of years thats not okay, usually you become regular after that.

I'd talk to your mom or doctor. See if there is a family history of this. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine though, it seems to be a common thing.
