when u put a tampon on ur supposed to put it in at an angle or it hurts. but in different sex positions, well it "goes in" different ways. how does that work?

However, I am pretty sure that the reason you are suppose to put a tampon in a certain angle is to prevent causing any discomfort. I'm sure many people would stop using tampons if they put it in at the completely wrong angle cause im sure it would hurt.
The applicator of a tampon is straight, hard, and not bendy at all, whereas as during sexual intercourse, the penis is able to move around not stay stiff.
