Question Posted Monday June 23 2008, 12:07 am

How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Shia LaBeouf?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. For more information on reply coupons click here. *For information on postage prices to receive a letter from USA click here.

I found these directions on a website, on how to send a celebrity a letter to get an autograph. My question is do you address one to the fan mail address and then put the same size envelope inside it with your address on it? I think that's how you do it right?
help? :?

I've done this a couple times.
I just took the address' that they put in the back of some teen magazines, then i wrote a letter asking for their autograph and saying "i liked your song/movie ________________" [whichever celebrity it is](and also don't make the letter to long, just 2-4 sentences). Then i put another envelope (it should be one of those bigger brown ones, so the pictures don't crinkle and bend) and put my address on the "send to" spot, and the celebrities address on the "from" spot, so they can quickly send it back. The caption is right by saying the waiting time for it back is 3+ months, and some don't even send one back. You can put a picture of the celebrity in the envelope for them to sign, or also not. I didn't and I got replies 80% of the time, so its really up to you.
Hope I Helped!
P.S. I love Shia LaBeouf! lol.
Good Luck!

Yes that is how you do it. Just do the
envelope up with stamps and your address
like you were sending yourself a letter.
Send it to them in an envelope and thats it.
Saves them time. :)
