If you described your situation to a doctor, he probably would not find your periods abnormal. Go to mymonthlycycles.com and register for free. This site will keep track of your cycle for you and even estimate when you will get your next period. Do this for a few months and you will have a better idea of whether you are really irregular or not. BTW, I would not recommend birth control in this situation in someone your age. It is true that some forms of birth control can cause you to gain weight, but besides that it just seems like trying to kill a fly with a bazooka. So don't worry too much and keep track of your cycle with that site. Good luck honey! [ melpomene's advice column | Ask melpomene A Question ]
