Question Posted Sunday June 8 2008, 11:27 pm

Hellooo..
Well, I have a Compaq laptop (I don't know how useful that information is) & I've had it for like 5 years or 6 maybe? Well, like 2 weeks ago, it shut of by itself and wouldn't turn back on so my dad got a new battery for it and it's been working fine until yesterday. The computer was plugged into an outlet the entire time but it just shut off and the battery symbol was flashing (saying that it didn't have enough power) so I moved it to another outlet but it did the same & it's been doing that all day today.

It's always plugged it. But it shuts off and doesn't even bother to restart. It just shuts off and then the battery light flashes although it's charged 100% and plugged in...

What can be the problem?
Thanks =)

That is a hardware problem. You need to take it to the manufacturer. There's nothing you can do by yourself.
