You tried to upload a picture, but it was greater than 15K in filesize so it wasn't uploaded.

is what it says when i try to put my pic up on this site but i dont see why it does that my pics are really small and they are not big so help me out thx

"15k" does not refer to the dimensions of the image. It's the space the image takes up on your hard drive, in bytes. Your picture must be under 15 kilobytes(15360 bytes) to be uploaded directly to Advicenators. You can see the size of any file by right clicking it and going to "properties". "Size" is the real size, you can ignore "size on disk".

To reduce the size, use Irfanview to convert to JPEG(if it's a picture from a camera) or PNG(if it's anything else, such as a drawing). Download:

You convert by opening the image in Irfanview and then going to File -> Save as... Then choose the type in the bottom dropdown.

Alternatively, you can upload the image to an external image host, like tinypic or hotlinkfiles:
