-digging
-blocking
you also have to be in good shape. start running a lot. probably a mile a day atleast. this will work your thighs and those are probably the most used muscles in volleyball. also try to do some lunges everyday. work on agility stuff to [[ladders, sprint and pivit, etc.]] because you have to move extremely quick to the ball [ kkr56's advice column | Ask kkr56 A Question ]
