someone please give me solid advice for how to get my life started... i really have a fear of failing and ending on the streets. i currently live with my parents ( forced to because my dad keeps using his contacts to sabotage every great job i get... so my fears are not unfounded) anyway so please someone tell me how to get a great job or even a small one that leads to something bigger! i want to develop my skills but he won't let me do what i want! help... please....

Well my friend, It seems your dealing with some pretty deep ignorance if what you say is true.
It raises alot of other qustions aboot your home life as well.
But I know theres only one way to deal with ignorance. With Pure logic. But! Your young and need to realise that you are. By realising this you should know your at a disadvantage mentally since they have there rules of "engagment" which makes it very hard for a "my child" to talk.
What you need to do and look at yourself in all ways. All point of views. Not just your point. When one`s ego comes into play with there life. Only ingorance will spawn in result.
After that. Look at what your parents have told you. And judge that advise with what you learnt at step one^
And then you will see if you can win an arguement.
You must beable to stump them, brain fart, Get confused, throw them off step mentally. If you can do that in a one on one conversation(must be one at a time) Then you will win in a sense where you have a stepping stone in there yard and a way out.
But gain no ego in this for it could cause you to act rash and immature.
Now that you think you can one up your folks. Look inside yourself and on the net for carrers you likes. If you want a risky high stakes high pay job or a check every month or three job.
Try picking a job that uses skills you`ll use everyday like a cheif, or a farmer, organic foods are costy and a good market if your good, or both and have something speciel.
Make a plan where you invest your money wisly so in 20 years you`ll be way richer while sticking to a less risky job.
And as for you father sabotaging everyjob. Get a job he cant sabotage. Use your mind you can figer this out, your a organic super computer this stuff is esay. As for me I have a pretty damn good plan which is the shizz.
And another thing to do is educate yourself more.
If your smarter then your parents then they wont beable to argue. Try the wheel of darma. A simple but educating philosophy

This is your life, not your dad or anyone else's. You have to do whats best for you not for anyone else.
You can start by telling yourself what you like to do..what do you like to do? That is what you can do. You can be anything you want if you put your mind to it. Start by getting a job, that will lead to money and so on.
