How much is it to get Invisalign? (the clear braces)

It probably depends on how bad your teeth are and how long you'd need to wear them, but I think in general they're about twice as expensive as regular braces. My teeth are pretty straight (just a couple out of alignment) and my ortho told me I'd need to wear Invisalign about a year to 18 months... and the cost was about $4000. That's the same price my friend is paying for regular braces that she'll be wearing for 3 years. But to find out for sure, make an appointment with an orthodontist. Most will give you a free consultation and give you prices for the various types of braces.
