the "player"
hey i wanted to talk to you a little further about this guy i like cause you're a guy.
well he has a lot of female friends, but a lot of them think he's annoying and they don't like him. he's sort of a wannabe-popular, yet he still has a lot of friends (at least he wants me to think that).
on a social networking site -- don't want to say which one -- he comments a lot of girls and he tells them how attractive they are & such. and we hung out pretty recently (we didn't do anything) but i really really like him. he isn't allowed to date so i'm not ever planning on tell him i like him, but he'd call me beautiful and such and i couldn't tell if he just says that to all girls or just me. and it hurt me when i saw that he was saying it to other girls.
he doesn't hang out with other girls a lot so idk i might be special in that. i'm pretty sure he thinks i'm attractive (but he thinks so of a lot of other girls) but i just wanna hook up with him. i know that's terrible but i don't want him to get in trouble if he's not allowed to date.
sometimes we talk all day about everything, and sometimes we go days without talking. we talk mostly online.
should i just wait until i get over him? i don't want to start anything, and i definitely don't want to get hurt. should i just try hanging out with him when i get a chance? should i try to, you know, make a move on him or would it make things really awkward?
i'm so sorry this is so long. i need a guy's perspective on this, and all my guyfriends have a crush on me now so i can't talk to them about it! hahaha i need youu! thank you so much!

Okay. Now this guy is NOT allowed to date, so he knows he can hit on everyone, basicly, and not start a commited relationship. Now judging by the social-networking site accident, I think he is not understanding the emotional damage he is causing when he hits on many girls at once, as you said, you were hurt when you discovered he had said your beautiful and then turned around and said it to like 3743028754 other girls.
Actually, how do you know hes not allowed to date? He could just be saying that so he can be all "cool with the ladies " and no relationship but he just WANTS girls to like him for an ego or something.
I'm not gonna tell you "YOU NO LIKE THIS BOY NO MORE" and I'm not gonna say "TELL HIM GIRL" because judging by what I'm told this guy is very confusing. I would wait a little bit longer to see how things unfold. If anything happens again you can tell me.
