The clamps hurt WAY worse than anything. it's really tight, but this is good because you don't feel pain when the needle goes through. The needle doesn't hurt, it just feels uncomfortable. Anyways, it's a pretty quick process.

Thickness of the skin does not affect how much it hurts. It really depends on your pain threshold.

If you are usually prone to fainting, you might pass out. Make sure you eat something a few hours before you go get pierced and that you've had a shower and clean clothes that day to prevent infection.

I was a bit nervous, but you just have to breathe. I didn't even look at ALL during the entire thing. Anyways, the piercer will tell you to take a big breath in, then exhale. When you exhale, they put the needle through so it doesn't hurt that bad.

I think you'll be totally fine. It's very quick. Just don't look if you're afraid.

if you felt dizzy with your cartlidge you're going to feel dizzy with your belly. the needle is a lot bigger. but trust me, this is from everyone i know who has theirs done, including myself.. the clamp they use to pull the skin out to pierce it hurts worse than the actual needle going through the skin. because they literally have to pull and stretch the skin to get the needle through. so the clamp is more of what i would be worried about. and yes it does hurt a little, but i didn't cry, and i lived. i also would do it again, so it didn't hurt that badly.

1. Not really, because its so quick, but some people feel a little pain.
2. No, it depends on the sensitivity of the skin, not the thickness.
3. I doubt it =]
4. You'll probably be a little nervous, but try to remember theres nothing to be afraid of.
