Okay, so my 16th birthday is on July 9th, by which time everyone is away at camp, vacation, etc. So I thought I'd have it soon after school ended (June 20th or something like that). Is that weird?
And I also need ideas (any ideas) as to how to go on about with the "party" part.
-10 people (boys and girls)
-CHEAP and not expensive
-I hate the sun so no pools or anything (I know, I'm crazy for hating the sun, but I have my reasons)
-I want it to be fun and original. Not just another dinner and movies birthday.
For dinner, I was thinking either pizza OR going out to a Mexican restaurant that everyone loves and it's pretty cheap ($6-8 per person)--so which one would be better? And probably junk food like chips and soda for later that night.
Keep in mind that movie tickets are $8.50 per person without the cost of popcorn/drinks/etc.
if you and your friends like sushi and habachi, there are really cool resturants that you can go to for that. and if you sit in the habachi section, the cooks will do a show for your table while cooking dinner. its very entertaining to watch and enjoy a good meal.
afterwards, id say go back to your house do hang out and have fun. you could get a scary movie, or even a funny one. or you could find some fun games that you guys like to play, nothing childish of course since your going to be sixteen. but im sure theres something you can all agree on.
