female, 16/f 5'5" 130 lbs.
alright, so im in sports and i have muscle,
but i have like fat still. and i try and try
and try to workout and eat healthy but nothing
seems to be working, i do tons of sit ups every
night and i run almost every day. i always feel
so big compared to my friends because they are
all so skinny and tiny. i just wanna like not
eat at all because im feeling so self-conscious
around everybody. evertime i go to the doctor,
im getting heavier and heavier. i dont want to
end up being that fat girl that stands out.

You won't be! Your 130 which is great for a 5'5 girl in sports. Muscle is great! the more you have the more fast your metabolism is. Who knows, maybe your still growing, if not then maybe you are putting on a little.. A LITTLE! No need to freak, maybe its just water weight. Your true weight is when you wake up in the morning, pee, and stand like naked on a scale. And i doubt you just woke up after a dr appointment? Right? If your truely concerned, look at the last few questions i answered. I pretty much gave all the good foods you can eat. And AOLbody.com and self.com and anything that you can type in google.. there is a site for.



About feeling big, everyone has insecurities. Your friends may be skinny, but think, can they lift as much as you? Can they run as fast? Do they eat crappy foods? Hahah. When im feeling down, I just think.. "well i eat healthy alot and they might be skinner but when their metabolism slows down they will be fat". I know its not completely true or anything but It makes me laugh inside and feel better hahah.



For a conclusion, I dont think you should worry about your weight becasue 130, all muscle, 5'5 is good! If you go to the doctor and see your weight creeping up by the 5's (5 lbs, 10 lbs, etc) then you can start to eat healtier and do more cardio to burn fat. When you get to that point that you decide for sure you want to loose weight, then I can help you. And its not a diet, its a healthy life! diets arent good for younger girls.. it tends to lead to disorders.. so consider yourself healthy.



Ps- everyone feels bad, im sure your skinny friends have insecurities too!
