i want to run for historian for my schools student council. i have to like tell people why i think i'd make a good historian. i mean i know i could do a good job and i like taking pictures and making scrapbooks [thats what my job would be] so what should i say?

I'm not saying to make it a popularity contest, because then it would just be a waste of time.
What I mean, is tell them a few good things about you. Like, that you get good grades, or that you're also on the volleyball team or whatever. Let them get to know you a bit, so they don't feel like they're voting for a a COMPLETE stranger.
Other than that, are you organized? If so, include that. Historians should be organized =]
