If you have bangs curl them and curl the ends of your hair in big rollers.

when my hair was as short as up to my shoulders, i would sometimes pin my bangs back (if you have something like sideswept bangs like me), and either straighten it or scrunch my hair. another thing i used to do, if thats a little plain and boring was i would sometimes where my hair half up and half down and then with the part thats up, i would do like a high messy bun thing so it would be kind of spikey in the back. its cute, and gives a little edge to it. hope that helps! good luck =)
