okay so like im wondering how you get eyeliner to stay in like a perfectly black line on your lower lash line. Where do you apply it and what is a good brand of eye liner to use?
Rosalina answered Saturday April 12 2008, 11:15 pm: I like to use a crayon(it's softer than kohl, and it's easier to use than liquid).
Covergirl makes them, they have a plastic shell, a cap on top like a pen, and a triangularish round thing on the bottom, this is the sponge.
If you want a full lower lashline, apply slightly thicker, but either way, begin at the outer corner of your eye, and put about 1 cm(a little less than half an inch) of perfect black line across your lashline. Then, use the white spongelike tip to lightly smear it across as far as you want the line to go. Do this carefully. By using a little bit across the WHOLE eye, it stays better.
IF YOU WANT TO USE KOHL- I know people say that all brands are alike- this isn't so. The cheaper you buy, the less quality pencil you get. Covergirl makes the best ones that are fairly cheap... otherwise you get into very expensive liners. Avon also makes nice ones.
DO NOT TRY TO SMEAR KOHL. IT WILL GIVE YOU BLACK EYES. PUT IT ON AND LEAVE IT.
You can try to use a makeup sealer, but do this in moderation, and VERY carefully.
LIQUID- I just want to say that you should NEVER EVER EVER use a liquid liner on your bottom lashline. It results in black tears unless you have a very steady hand, and it looks messy. [ Rosalina's advice column | Ask Rosalina A Question ]
