i dated this boy for near 2yrs, and he broke up with me abrutly. he never gave me any reasons, or anything. he just removed me from his life completely. i was devastated. i couldn't ever figure out how someone who loved me one day could just stop caring the next.
it wasn't until over a year later, that i found out that he had just as hard of a time letting go as i did.
he recently told me that he wanted me back & that he tried to block all contact with me because it only hurt him to think about everything.
boys are very confusing beings.
but in the end, they do have feelings & they do hurt when they lose someone, they just know how to brush it off. [ karisue's advice column | Ask karisue A Question ]

Well in fact when it comes to breaking up,guys get as bent out of shape as girls. Guys have the same feelings and emotions as girls, they just don't talk about it or openly show their emotions like girls do. Most guys hide their feelings better and some guys are not as emotionally attached and some are to proud to show the hurt.
Guys and Girls handle things completely different. For some people its very easy but for others it may not be easy. Most guys try to play it off cool so they don't show any weakness and some of them may have other girlfriends to fall back on. Guys just don't wear their hearts out on there sleeves.

that's a misconception... you'd think that they do but they take just as long as girls do. they're just not as open about it. they like to keep it to themselves. and also, their friends help them find new girls to move on. they do get hurt though -- sometimes more than girls [ heybbylovee's advice column | Ask heybbylovee A Question ]
