jealousy vs over protective
well she did say in the email that she was jealous. i can understand it as a friend thing but she said she was jealous of my last two boyfriends. it is both as i also want my frinds to be safe but i dont get jealous of the guy. but i do still like her but i dont know she did deny saying she was jealous...

She is probably confused about her feelings as well. It is very difficult sometimes for friendships when you are so used to it just being the two of you then one of you gets a boyfriend and everything cahnges. Try talking to her about get her feelings, and opinions on the situation, then go from there. Tell her honestly how you feel and what you think about it too.
