Additional info, added Thursday March 27 2008, 7:33 pm: So we all know that aloe vera is good for the skin. However, some people suggest squeezing the gel directly out of the aloe vera plant and putting it on your face while others suggest using store-bought ale vera gel. My question is: is the fresh aloe vera gel poisonous/bad for the skin or is it better to use that compared to the store bought one.. Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category? Jadie answered Thursday March 27 2008, 8:13 pm: I use fresh cut ones, because i dont know why but i got alot of them in my backyard but ya i heard its quite good to use, i heard it cools your face. but i also read that its kinda bad to cover up pores. but if you wash your face after you sleep with aloe on your face in the morning or like few minutes after you use them it's better. also!!! before you use fresh cut ones u should wash away the munky yellow-ish green stuff from it, and use the clear slim or like rub it on your face. and in my opinion its better to use fresh cut ones because store bought, sometimes they use reversing chemicals on it, which is bad for your skin sometimes hope that helps!
