College scouts..

Question Posted Wednesday March 26 2008, 12:36 am

Can you get a full scholarship for a sport (soccer) if you're not playing on the school's team? Like, if you play on a travel team instead...do scouts come to those games to recruit or no?

Thanks :]

scouts come to alot of high school games, but then they'll also come to soccer tournaments too.

but the chances are they aren't going to just see you play and be like 'hey i want you on my team'.

your best bet is to go online to the colleges that you are interested in, and visit their soccer athletic page. some will have recruit forms that you can fill out, but if not you can also e-mail the coach or who ever it says to contact.
