Editing Pictures

I want to put pictures of me on facebook but I want hem to be cool and "edited" (for example: different colors and textures, etc., or w/e you would think would make a picture look cool). I have Photoshop Elements. Any suggestions?

use the filters. you can play around with them a lottt. i like the colors and the cartoons. they have a lot of them too so you'll find something that looks good on the picturee.
