You're still normal. It's probably just old blood that didn't come out during your old cycle. Blood turns brown when it comes in contact with air, it's old blood. It should be redder the next time you get your period.
If it isn't, ask your local GP about it if you are still concerned, they will give you a more detailed description about the situation, but for now, just relax.
