Okay, so lately, i've been kind of boerd...with life. its like nothing is exciting anymore. i kind of just do the same thing over and over and over again. i wake up go to school come home, do homework watch t.v or go ojn the computer. i just don't know what else to do. i guess i could join clubs and stuff but i don't really know. is this normal? what things should i do to become less boerd? i don't really hang out with friends that much, because the thing is i don't have that many. its just like they're ALWAYS busy. i'm not that smart so if i turn to school as a way to become less boerd, it won't work. but i don't know..please answer and don't answer if you don't know!
Try taking up a hobby, outside, an active one. Excercising produces a happiness hormone in your brain, seratonin, which will also help with boredom with life. I'd reccomend reaching out to find new friends and trying new things with them, such as soccer, or tree-climbing.
Tell your parents how you feel, and maybe they'll take you shopping, or airsofting, or hiking, whatever you may have for means of enjoyment.
If you don't feel smart, then your mind will put up a block. It is proven that the more you tell yourself something, the more it becomes reality. That is not to say that you are going to become mindless because you feel un-intelligent, but it will mildy affect you. Get a tutor, if you need help! School is not supposed to be somewhere you turn to for free time, because you need balance, in your life, so, like I said, pick up an outdoor sport or something!
Eating healthier can also raise energy and make you more happy, and watching television may tempt you to reach for that bag of old potato chips. Just try something new, and change up your routine!
teenage_drifter answered Saturday March 22 2008, 12:03 am: It is normal during school to get bored and want to move off to bigger and better things, we've all been there so don't feel so left out. As for the friends thing, find more that share your views and opinions, there are always people out there that are interesting and do funny things. As for wanting to find something that occupies you, try reading, or even writing a book, this is a great way to open your imagination and it'll give you a hobby. If you can, save up a heap of money and when you get out of school, for the holidays, go with a bunch of people on a camp. This may sound lame but it's a good way to get to know people and get outdoors. If that doesn't interest you, then try sports, find things that you're good at and expand on them.
