hey, so I'm really interested in film, i'm kind of a movie buff. Anyways, I wanted to start a club at my school but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Do any of you go to schools with clubs related to film/film critique, anything like that?
What do you think I could have the club do, and what sort of events could it hold that somehow help the community, etc... my school is big on community service.
I really like old movies, foreign films, and others but I'm not sure how to work that in.
thanks

Usually they look really good but they arent really worked on much by the kids. One year some of the students wrote it and did almost all of the work. Now of course my school had a teacher who loved movies and we had the necessary equipment needed to film and edit a movie. Others schools offer a film critque class as an elective, but again you would need to find a teacher who was really passionate about it and willing to do a lot of work to get it done.
