Pocket PC Q

Question Posted Wednesday March 19 2008, 11:56 am

Okay, well I have a toshiba e740 [older model], and I set up the wifi and everything was working great. All of a sudden, it comes up with a dialog box telling me that it is unable to connect, even though the wifi is clearly connected. Then when I tried to load IE again, it asked me for a username, domain, and a password! I am completely clueless as to what I should do. It says that the wifi is connected, but I don't know why it is unable to connect.

are you using your own wifi or someone elses? it definitely sounds like something was set up on the wireless router to require a username and password to get online.
