Johnny Cash is known as the man in black, and "Jumping Jack Flash" is by the Rolling Stones, so the girl is getting everything ever wrong. So nobody is the man in red, she's just messing it up.

Ignatz answered Tuesday March 11 2008, 5:00 pm:
The point of the song is that the girl is completely clueless. "Jumping Jack Flash" is by the Rolling Stones, and Johnny Cash was famous for wearing black exclusively. She misidentifies the artist and the thing that made Johnny Cash distinctive.

Hope this helps.
