Hi I am 18, about 5 ft 4' and i weight about 100 lbs. I knwo i am under weight. My whole family from my moms side is skinny, im pretty sure i have a fast matabolism and I REALLY want to put on weight. I can't stand people telling me i look skinny. My goal would be to reach anywhere between 115 and 120. I want to know what type of foods i can eat that will help me gain weight? how many times a day should I eat? Should I snack? I want to gain healthy weight not clog my arteries and i have tried eating more carbs and eating more often, but i work 2-11 and its hard to snack when im at work. Please any ideas, or sites, ANYTHING would help me right now. I don't like most of my body becasue im so petit. I don't want to be petit anymore. Do you have any suggestions?

Maybe give some free advice about: Health? god-smusgrove answered Sunday March 9 2008, 1:03 am: eat denser food. don't binge on mcdonald's or any fast food, just food with protein, like eggs and lean meats. if your hungry, instead of eating a small snack, eat a peanut butter jelly sandwhich. also, try to eat more whole wheat and whole grains. good luck.

No applause just money.)Are you wanting to gain weight because of what other folks are saying? Trust me, after a few more years your metabolism will slow down and you'll put on a few pounds anyway. Those folks are probably just jealous. I'd personally not suggest putting on weight. So many bad side effects. However, if you really want to fatten up there's a few things you can do. Eat lots of starchy foods such as pastas, potatoes and breads. Eat bigger portions and exercise as little as possible. Have someone else run your errands, walk to the mailbox and pay your bills. When you go shopping, use an electric cart instead of pushing a buggy. Keep at it and you'll be on your way to obesity in no time.

I don't understand your poor rating. I answered your question. I see you changed it up a bit since I answered.
If you do the protein shakes or weight gainers and don't exercise, you'll get as big around as a house. Now, why on Earth would you want to do that?? If you want to gain mass that's one thing but to gain weight because other folks are laughing at you because you are skinny is just stupid! If you want a work out regime then ask me. I know all about building mass. I weigh in at 265lbs.

Now how was that not good advice? Obviously you'd rather not hear it from someone who's used these very foods to gain mass. I don't get your deal! You wanted it personal or else you wouldn't have asked for advice. Pastas, breads and such are an excellent way to gain weight and a much more healthier way than fried foods. Only thing I regret saying and I should have made this clear is to make sure it's made with heart healthy whole grain. I'm not hear to tell you what you want to hear.
