we have a wireless router from netgear that provides my wireless to my laptop. randomly (or at least i think randomly- i haven't time how long it takes for this to happen), my internet connection cuts off, and i have to go reset the router for it to work properly again. i assume this is caused by the router going idle or something. but this will happen even when i'm on the internet. i'm pretty good with settings and all that, but i can't find any options as for the router itself. help please?!

Not sure what the default login is on the netgear router but you can google it. Type in the router IP addie into your browser the username admin and password should be admin too. You can look in there for anything but I doubt it's timing out. It's probably interference of some sort or you are too far away. Try relocating the router away from anything electrical.
