Tons of webpages!

Question Posted Sunday February 24 2008, 7:18 am

So i got a new laptop for christmas and this is the third time this thing has happened. i go on a site and then i exit something and tons of webpages pop up and i have to use task manager and get rid of it. BTW my comp is an hp and it's running a vista. Is something internally wrong with it or is it vista's fault or...is it my fault?
thanks.

Sounds like you have ad-ware and spyware installed.
Install and run these programs.
"SpyBot Search and Destroy"

and
"Ad-Aware"

In the future run this browser FireFox, located here:
