As much as I hate the typical teenage story about falling "in love" and what not I need advice. I am 15 and the guy I think I like is 16. We live about 20 miles apart. We never actually met in person, but I know him because hes my ex's best friend and my other friends friend. Thats how we met, and yes, I know hes not some 40 year old pervert. We talk alot on AIM and occasionally on the phone. We are both shy, but both are extremely sarcastic and sometimes mean. How do I bring up wanting to hang out with him and make it happen?
LM answered Saturday February 23 2008, 12:46 pm: Hang out at a mutual friend's house. That will put parents' minds at ease. Trust me, all they're going to hear is "meeting a guy you met online" so make sure they know that your friends know him already.
Or, have him come to your house (with a parent home) or meet somewhere like a mall or movie theatre, again not alone. Good luck =)
